In the early hours of 3 July, the team were called to assist a group of three walkers, lost on Cadair Idris after spending around 11 hours on the hill. The group had run out of food and water, had limited battery power and one member had suffered a minor knee injury.
Using information provided by the callers, team members quickly located the party, assessed their condition and escorted them safely off the mountain. Due to fatigue and the late hour, the group were then transported to their campsite in Barmouth, bringing the incident to a safe conclusion.
