At 7:49pm on Tuesday 13 October, Aberdyfi Search & Rescue Team was called to assist two walkers who had become stranded on steep ground on Cadair Idris.
Fortunately, neither walker was injured, but concerns over the terrain and their equipment meant they were unable to continue safely without assistance.
A team was deployed to locate the pair and escort them from the mountain. Once found, the walkers were safely guided off the hill before being transported to Machynlleth Train Station to continue their journey home.
