Aberdyfi Search & Rescue Team was called following reports of lost walkers on Cadair Idris. With limited information available and no immediate means of contacting the party, team members assessed the likely route being taken and deployed a search party to investigate.
Fortunately, shortly after the search began, the walkers regained mobile phone signal and contacted the team from the car park. They had managed to find their way out of difficult ground, relocate the main path and descend safely from the mountain.
