On Sunday evening at about 17:45, the team were put on stand-by for a party overdue on Cadair Idris. The group, from a local hiking club, were suitably equipped for a day on the mountain but had become lost and unable to obtain a phone signal. They arrived at the foot of the mountain some 2 h overdue, and about 30 min after the call-out was placed, and the team was stood down. A letter of thanks was recieved by the team shortly afterwards.
