At about 3:00 p.m. the Team was alerted to the presence of a 28 year old man requesting help on Cadair Idris. The man was uninjured, but had become disorientated in low cloud over the higher slopes of the mountain. Volunteers from the team were put on standby as once again, the SARLOC app was used to get an accurate fix on the man. Having established his position, and with a good knowledge of the mountain, the Team call-handlers were able to talk him down to safety, using SARLOC to check his progress. Once safely down to the lower slopes the Team was stood down.
