At around 3:30 p.m. the Team was alerted to an injured walker on Cadair Idris. The casualty, one of a group walking on the on the Gau Craig spur of the mountain, had tripped awkwardly injuring his leg. The group were able to give their current position, and were keen to self-rescue. Volunteers from the team were put on standby in case the casualty deteriorated or the group were unable to find the route, and progress was monitored by phone. In the event the party slowly but competently made their own way down to the nearest road-head, where they were met by one of the Team Leaders, and the team were stood down.
