Shortly before 1:00 p.m. the Team was requested to assist an ambulance crew trying to access an ill walker in the hills immediately south of Machynlleth. As volunteers were preparing to deploy, a Team member out exercising on his bike encountered the casualty and attending paramedic, who were being transported by a local farmer in his ATV. With the information that the evacuation was safely underway, the Team was stood down.
