The team were alerted to a lady with potentially limb threatening ankle injury on the Minffordd path. Due to the potentially serious nature of the injury Coastguard helicopter was requested and on arrival transported team members up to the injured walker.
Immediate treatment was provided at scene and the lady was airlifted to hospital for further assessment and retreatment.
