The team were called to assisted Brecon Mountain Rescue Team following reports of a mountain biker who had fallen and sustained a significant head injury near Staylittle.
The casualty’s location was confirmed using PhoneFind technology and local team members responded to help access the remote location. Fortunately, the casualty was able to make progress towards a nearby farm, where he was assessed by ambulance personnel.
Once the casualty was safely in the care of the Welsh Ambulance Service, mountain rescue resources were stood down and the casualty was transferred for further medical treatment
