A lone walker called for assistance after sustaining a minor ankle and knee injury near the summit shelter on Cadair Idris.
Following telephone contact and location confirmation, it was established that the casualty was able to walk and bear weight on the injured leg. Two passing walkers had stopped to assist and agreed to accompany her down the mountain.
The team monitored the party’s progress remotely using regular location updates, while maintaining a precautionary response. The casualty safely descended via the Pony Path and later confirmed she had returned to Ty Nant without further incident
