The team were alerted at 17:00 on Monday to a female walker who had become lost on Cadair Idris. Two hill parties were quickly deployed onto the mountain, the first heading up into Cwm Cau taking the stone shoot up onto the ridge line whilst a second team made their way up from Llanfihangel Y Pennant. The female was located safe and well although very cold at 19:15 before being escorted down to safety. Conditions on the mountains are still very demanding; the team encountering bullet hard snow and ice en-route, requiring the use of axe and crampons.
