Day Three – The Team continued supporting North Wales Police in the search for a missing man who had failed to return home after reporting that he had been injured whilst walking his dog.
Over three days, Mountain Rescue Team members and SARDA search dogs carried out extensive searches, including forestry and surrounding terrain identified as areas of interest by police.
As search operations were drawing to a close and teams were being debriefed, the missing person was spotted by a member of the public. Team members were immediately deployed to the location, where they carried out an assessment and provided initial care before handing the incident over to the appropriate agencies.
