At around 11:30 a.m. the Team was requested by Dyfed Powys Police to re-join the ongoing missing person search in the Machynlleth area. The multi-agency operation involved Police, Fire & Rescue, Coastguard, Mountain Rescue and Search & Rescue Dogs Association assets. There were a number of promising leads discovered during the day, but the person was not located, and the Police search remained open.
