The team were contacted by North Wales Police at 18:30 on Sunday evening following reports from a pair of motorcyclists that had lost two members of their party at around 14:00. The full team deployed, divided the forestry up into a number of search areas and began to conduct a search of the entire Dyfi Forestry using 4×4 vehicles. The team were half way through the search when news came through of two lost males turning up at a house in Aberangell. Following verification that they were the pair the team were looking for the motorcyclists were reunited and greeted by awaiting Dyfed Powys Police officers.
