The team were contacted by North Wales Police following a concerned relative of a team of 3 out on Cadair Idris contacting them. Due to loss of phone signal a team member located the informant in Minffordd car park who then called in for further assistance. A small team were deploying onto the hill as the party returned to the carpark having come down the pony path to Llanfihangel Y Pennant instead of the Minfordd path and managed to get a lift back. Team were stood down.
