The body of a walker was recovered from Cadair Idris in a 5 hour operation. The remains were discovered by passing walkers amongst the crags between the summit and Llyn y Gadair, and the scene was attended by members of the team. The casualty was recovered to a stretcher by the team, and owing to the difficult nature of the terrain the RAF Sea King Rescue helicopter assisted in lifting the walker off the mountain.
