Shortly after 3:00 p.m. the Team received a request from South Snowdonia MRT for assistance with a difficult stretcher extraction of an injured walker from woodland in Cwm Mynach. The Team was put on standby as steep and overgrown slopes were assessed for potential routes out, but in the end it was concluded that a helicopter extraction was the best option. Coastguard helicopter Rescue187 airlifted the casualty, and the Team was stood down.
