At around 12:30 p.m. the Team was requested to assist in the rescue of a sick mountain-biker in the hills above Furnace. The 28 year old man had fallen from his bike and was thought to be having significant cardiac problems. As the Team started to mount a response, the call-out was stood down when news came in that the EMRTS helicopter had attended, and was transporting the man to hospital care.
