Walking up the Pony Path at the back of Cyfrwy, one of the newest members of the team came across a couple, one of whom had just slipped. In so doing she had put her hand out to break the fall and had damaged her wrist [poss. fracture /dislocation]. Having splinted the damaged arm and contacted team leader, he started to escort the walker back down, and was joined by a National Park Warden ,who was also on the hill, and had been made aware of the incident over the VHF radio. Once down the couple were escorted to the local hospital for further treatment.

In an emergency dial 999
