Shortly before 3:00 p.m. the Team was requested to assist North Wales Police in the rescue of an unconscious male from steep ground near Llwyngwril. Being on the beach margins, the incident was passed on to H.M. Coastguard, although Team volunteers proceeded to the incident to assist. In a joint effort with NWP, HMCG and Barmouth RNLI inshore lifeboat, the man was evacuated via sea, and transported to hospital for further care.
